Community members gathered for the second annual Battling Mind Striders Mental Health Awareness Day in Wellsville. The event featured a relaxed-pace walk through town carrying a mental health awareness flag, followed by a screening of the film "It's Kind of a Funny Story." Organizers thanked attendees and gave special recognition to NAMI Steuben, the Rev. Mitch Byeck and Drew Evans. The walking group meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. at Catholic Charities in Wellsville, and organizers plan to share 2027 plans later.
